Nah. I think it’s more of a yes man situation. Let him go in his bullshit… As long as it encourages ai and thus ask for more chips, everything is fine

I mean the AI developers are the ones saying they need to slow down, but the chip producers are against it. Hence, a contradiction.

A lot of AI developers are saying that for the marketing value. They’re the same marketing hellhole

Nvidia is contradicting the marketing message. The AI developers are saying “oh nooo our AI is soooo powerful we need to be stooooopped before we kiiiiiill everyone!!1” and Nvidia is saying “no shut the fuck up keep buying chips”

The AI developers have decided that they need to drum up increasingly impossible danger scenarios that AI will do, in order to keep up funding their highly subsidised services.

nvidia needs to keep pumping the valuation of these companies because if they stop buying, nvidia stock implodes.

      Jensen is a yes- man

What’s he saying “yes” to? The AI developers are the ones saying there should be a slowdown, and he’s saying “no” to that.

Seems to me that Jensen doesn’t like the way AI developers are drumming up doomsday scenarios and wants them to stop.

AI doomsaying drums up business with one particular type of investor, a lot of other investors get spooked by people saying “our product will murder all our/your customers”.
