For all I care every dude in America could walk around like this if we got universal healthcare, a protected democracy, a solid education for every individual, and social safety nets for the old and unfortunate.

One on each side if you can manage.

When I worked medsurg as a CNA while I was in school sometimes with real old dudes I had to throw their nutsack over their leg as they sat on the toilet to keep it from pinching or falling in the water. Boys, wear supportive undergarments while it still matters.

How dare you allow dudes to exercise their freedoms like that! That tramples on the freedoms of right-wing snowflakes!

As a now disgraced danish male comedian once said: “Yes, I want to be objectified!”.

As Baizey said, Jonathan Spang in Tæt På Sandheden. He had a relationship with a teenager, after having (rightfully) ripped on a politician for years for having done the same, so the show got dropped and his career died pretty much over night.

Might be Jonatan Spang? From helt tæt på sandheden (very close to the truth)

So I’m at the Spirit Halloween yesterday (it’s in an old Toys R Us; I know you all were curious). My 12 y/o wants to be Spider-Man for Halloween. The “boy” costumes have a Spider-Man mask, but no gloves. They also have the foam sculpted muscles. My kid hates this. But we happen to notice that they have a “girl” Spider-Man costume. In a win for equality or progress or whatever, it’s labeled as “Spider-Man” and not “Spider-Girl” or whatever. And, like the “boy” costume, it’s an officially licensed product. Now, the “girl” costume is basically what he wants: it has gloves, no stupid sculpted muscles, no sculpted boot things to cover shoes from what we can tell. It’s just a straight up, lean, form-fitting lycra suit with Spidey’s graphics on it. Awesome.

Doesn’t have an actual mask. Only a “domino mask” (think Black Cat or Robin).

Why do we do this? I could probably write an entire thesis on the gender politics of these two costumes.

(We’re probably just going to look for like a “zentai” type suit online; seems to be the best option)

I was never into the slutty costumes anyway because it’s no fun to be drunk and freezing
